In Central Florida, most gutter cleanings run $150 to $300. Pros price by the linear foot of gutter, roughly $1 per foot, with a minimum visit charge of about $150 and an extra $50 or so for a two story home. A typical one story home with 150 to 200 feet of gutter lands at $150 to $200; a two story with 250 feet lands closer to $300.
What is included
Leaves, pine needles and shingle grit scooped out of the gutters, downspouts checked and flushed so water actually leaves the roof, the mess bagged, and the area rinsed. Ask for before and after photos. A crew that does not flush the downspouts has done half the job.
What changes the price
Length of gutter is the main driver. Then stories: second story gutters need taller ladders and more time. Heavy debris (a home under oaks or pines that has not been cleaned in two years) adds time. Gutter guards add time to lift and reset. Screen enclosure gutters on a pool cage are a separate item.
Gutter brightening is different
Cleaning is the inside. Brightening is the outside face of the gutter, the black tiger stripes that a hose will not touch. It is a chemical process, priced per home, usually about $150 on a one story and $200 on a two story. It is what makes gutters match a freshly washed house.
How often in Florida
Once a year for most homes, twice for homes under oaks or pines or with heavy spring pollen. Clogged gutters overflow in summer storms and dump water against the foundation and onto walkways, which is the expensive version of a $150 problem.
The cheapest way to do it

Can I clean my own gutters?
On a one story home with a stable ladder and someone holding it, many people do. Two story gutters are where homeowners get hurt, and a $200 cleaning is cheap next to an ER visit.
Do gutter guards mean I never need cleaning?
No. Guards slow the leaves but let in grit and pollen, and the tops of the guards grow moss. They usually need a cleaning every year or two, and it takes a little longer.
Is gutter cleaning included in a roof wash?
Not automatically. The roof wash rinses the gutters, but clearing packed debris and flushing downspouts is its own item. Ask for it on the same quote.
